If you seek proof of extraterrestrial or other-dimensional life, it's probably best not to look for it in the sky, but rather in our radio signals for secret messages encoded there. This was certainly true in Night School Studio's acclaimed 2016 narrative thriller Oxenfree, and will be once again later this year in the upcoming sequel, Lost Signals.

It's not too early to start making vacation plans for this summer. Who knows where the pandemic will be at then, though, so it's probably best to spend most of it virtually, like in indie developer Something We Made's upcoming adventure, TOEM.

The airline business may have gone to the dogs this year, but that notion will take on a whole new very literal meaning in indie developer Xalavier Nelson Jr.'s upcoming adventure, An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs.

As much as we'd all like to stay in touch with loved ones who have passed on, if there's one thing that horror stories have taught us, is that such attempts to connect the realms of the living and the dead never turn out well. Need more proof? Look no further than indie Spanish developer JanduSoft's newly released psychological thriller, Evil Inside. 

After tackling the story of Jekyll and Hyde in their previous adventure, indie studio MazM set their sights on another literary classic in The Phantom of the Opera, which now out on PC and Switch following its earlier mobile-exclusive release.

One of the benefits of adventure games is how many different cultures they expose us to. Indie developer COSDOTS' newly released Unfolded: Camellia's Tales takes us to another rarely explored setting – this time an island in South Korea, at a time of growing unrest and great upheaval just before the outbreak of war.
