GMX Media announced today that they will publish Anima PPD/Interactive's FMV detective adventure Conspiracies in the United Kingdom. The game has already been released in North America and most European nations.

GMX Media, European publishers of Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Watchmaker, as well as many other games of various genres, has signed a deal to become the publisher of upcoming children's adventure Great Journey in most European countries.
Deirdra Kiai (creator of the excellent Cubert Badbone) has released a short demo for her next game, The Game That Takes Place on a Cruise Ship. Titled The Interview, it is exactly that - the protagonist, Gertrude, auditioning for a place in a computer game. The demo seems to be a stand-alone thing that won't feature in the main game. The demo is downloadable from Dierdra's site.
An English version demo of Mysterious Journey II: Chameleon (aka Schizm 2) has recently been launched by The Adventure Company and can be got from mirrors at Gamer's Hell and at 3D Gamers. The demo weighs in at 152MB.

A new demo of developer Revistronic's The Westerner is now available in German languange voiceover. This 216MB demo is about three times as big as the original Spanish demo, features an introduction as well as more puzzles, and can be had from mirrors at Gamer's Hell.
Developer Buka and distributor Saturn+ have just released a second demo for the horror themed adventure Midnight Nowhere. The 216MB demo features new content and is now in English, and can be downloaded from 3D Gamers, Worthplaying, or Gamer's Hell.

[image=1746]Although it's been known for some time that Myst IV was in development, Ubi Soft today officially announced the project and its full title. The game will be developed by Ubi Soft's own Montreal studios, which is known for developing games such as Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Splinter Cell.
