The TechTV video game review show X-Play has reviewed Syberia for the X-Box, giving it a very impressive 4 out of 5. For those not familiar with the show, it generally favors console action games, and is also very stingy with giving good reviews, all of which makes this high score a very impressive feat.

For those who missed it the first time we reported it, the Dreamforge classic Sanitarium has been apparently re-released into Wal-Mart stores across the US for the budget price of $9.14. We can find no mention of this on the Internet, but we have personally confirmed its presence in the stores. This game is nearly impossible to find these days, so if there's a Wal-Mart near you be sure to snatch up a copy!

Version 0.5.0 of ScummVM has been released. ScummVM lets you play a range of classic adventure games on your modern computer, under a variety of operating systems. Even though the project started out as an interpreter for LucasArts games, it's begun incorporating support for other oldschool graphic adventures. The latest addition to the list of supported games is Beneath a Steel Sky, thanks to Revolution Software supplying the original assembly source code. (Kudos to Revolution for making Beneath a Steel Sky freeware!)
LucasArts has stopped production on Full Throttle: Hell On Wheels, the sequel to the highly acclaimed Full Throttle graphic adventure. It was already suspected that the project wasn't going as smooth as planned. At a recent press event we were told that the game had missed some milestones and that its release would be pushed back further into 2004.
