Ubisoft today announced that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Dark Motives is now available in US stores.

As part of the complete re-design and re-launch of ScoobyDoo.com, Warner Bros. Online has released the first chapter of the episodic mystery adventure Scooby-Doo: Horror on the High Seas.

Nucleosys, the Argentina developers behind upcoming mystery adventure Scratches, have updated their website today with new screenshots and music samples, including the game's main theme.

To commemorate their 10th anniversary, UK-based developer Vulcan Software has released updated versions of their Valhalla adventure game series, originally created for the Amiga platform but now on PC. The series consists of three games which were first developed between 1994 and 1996.

The official Uru: Ages Beyond Myst site is now offering the first free expansion pack to adventurers who own a copy of Uru. This pack contains some of the maps previously reserved for Uru's multiplayer project, Uru Live, which was cancelled in part due to lack of player subscription.

As part of the recent release of ScummVM 0.6.0, the classic graphic adventure Flight of the Amazon Queen has been released as freeware. Much like Revolution Software's donation of Beneath a Steel Sky's source code for the previous ScummVM release, Flight of the Amazon Queen's creators, Steve Stamatiadis and John Passfield provided the ScummVM team with the game's source code, and are responsible for allowing its release as freeware.
