First Uru add-on now available
The official Uru: Ages Beyond Myst site is now offering the first free expansion pack to adventurers who own a copy of Uru. This pack contains some of the maps previously reserved for Uru's multiplayer project, Uru Live, which was cancelled in part due to lack of player subscription.
Included in the pack are new Ages, new gameplay features and puzzles, revealing information on the fictitious history, culture, and anthropolgy of the D'ni world, the state of progress of the 'DRC' D'ni restoration project, and new clothing and accessory options for the player avatars. A detailed list of the goodies included can be had here (warning: spoilers).
The 173 MB expansion pack can be downloaded through Ubisoft's FTP server (direct link), Gigex, 3D Gamers, and Worthplaying.
