Got Game Entertainment today announced the North American release of the upcoming first-person adventure, The Arrangement. Created by American developer Michael Clark, The Arrangement focuses on Richard Sullivan, an attorney who is plunged into the mystery of his wife's kidnapping. During his investigation, Sullivan learns the chilling truth: Was his marriage not what it seemed? Was his very existence not as it appeared? Was it all just a terrible twist of fate? Or was his life pre-arranged?

Razbor Studios, developer of the upcoming Legacy: Dark Shadows, has let us know that the game will no longer ship by the end of February as previously expected. However, development is going strong and Razbor expects Legacy to be "packed and completed" by mid-March, with an updated demo to be released soon.

Voting is currently taking place for the February 2004 MAGS, or 'Monthly AGS Competition'. For anyone who doesn't know what MAGS is, it is a competition run for AGS developers, where they are given just one month to create a game that conforms to a set of predetermined rules.

Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon has been named among the nominees for the IGDA game awards, which will be held at the upcoming GDC trade show in San Jose. Charles Cecil, Steve Ince, Neil Richards, and Tony Warriner of Revolution Software have been nominated for the category Excellence in Writing. Other nominees in this category are the writers behind Deus Ex: Invisible War, Fire Emblem, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The Adventure Company has announced Aura: Fate of the Ages, a first-person puzzle game where the players must embark on a journey across four magical worlds as they search for the four sacred rings that bring strength, power and immortality to the beholder. As each ring is found, another world opens up en route to completing this mystical quest. Players will need to solve a variety of ingenious fully-animated puzzles using logic, reasoning and common sense

GMX Media today announced that Journey to the Centre of the Earth will be launched to the UK market on Friday 27th. The adventure has been available in the US since October, and has been reviewed here on Adventure Gamers, where it gained a score of four stars.

Benoît Sokal's new development team White Birds Productions have sent us some new artwork of their upcoming adventure game Lost Paradise. The first picture shows a concept sketch, while the second picture is a 3D conversion of this sketch. We presume this not a finalized rendering, considering the company is still heavily recruiting artists and programmers.

Microids has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Syberia II. The trailer features cutscenes from the game as well as narrated information of the continuing saga of Kate Walker, the heroine of the game's story. Syberia II is scheduled to launch on the third week of March in North America. A playable demo will soon be available.
