Harvester of Dreams has been a long time coming. Starting out as German indie Christian Waadt's personal project a decade ago, it has been in active development since 2012. Now the titular detective is back for an all-new case, but this time it's going to cost us. 

While most interplanetary games are serious science fiction, outer space and comedy have alway gone hand-in-hand in the adventure genre. And so they will once again next year with the release of indie Australian developer Bad Goat Studios' Henry Mosse and the Wormhole Conspiracy.

Usually people aren't eager to spend much time in a ghetto, but an exception can certainly be made for a little point-and-click adventuring in indie developer Toro Games' upcoming Ghetto Conspiracy.

Those who played last year's masterful Gorogoa got a taste of how zooming from one scene to another could lead to countless possibilities. Now indie Spanish developer DevilishGames aims to ramp up that mechanic significantly in its newly-released puzzler Path to Mnemosyne.

Many games refuse easy genre categorization, and some defy any attempts to classify them at all. Such is the case of the successfully Kickstarted text-driven thriller unmemory, coming to PC and mobile devices later this year.
