The Adventure Company today announced that Missing: Since January has shipped to stores in North America. This innovative adventure title, known as In Memoriam in Europe, uses the internet and e-mail as an integrated part of the gameplay. Players will receive email from virtual characters and scour a fusion of 300 real and fictitious websites to gather clues vital to solving the case.

Top French publisher Micro Application has secured a publishing deal with Funcom to release Dreamfall: The Longest Journey in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and French-speaking Canada. Micro Application has traditionally published utility and productivity software, but is attempting to broaden its reach in Europe and French-speaking territories with a stronger emphasis on games.

'Angels', a new clip from Quantic Dream's upcoming supernatural thriller Fahrenheit, is now available to download from 3D Gamers. The 29.1MB, two minute long movie shows gameplay footage from the Playstation2 version, in which the player must evade flying statues of angels come to life inside a soaring cathedral. Fahrenheit is slated for release late this year (Q4) for Playstation2 and PC.

The Adventure Company has just placed Missing on gold status and it should be on store shelves within this month. An innovative adventure combining a chilling blend of serial killer mystery sleuthing, a vanished reporter and companion, puzzle work, email messaging, and the Internet itself (required to play the entire game), Missing was originally released in Europe last year under the title In Memoriam.

Publisher Got Game Entertainment today announced that they have relinquished the publishing rights to independent adventure The Arrangement, developed by Michael B. Clark.
