Mobile games publisher Astraware and games developer Revolution Software have just announced that Broken Sword: Shadow Of The Templars will be ported to PDA devices.

Another Jules Verne-based adventure game is set to hit the market this winter. The Adventure Company today announced that they will be publishing a game adaptation of Verne's Return to Mysterious Island. It is being developed by Kheops Studios, who previously worked on Crystal Key II and The Egyptian Prophecy.

Cinemax, an independent Czech development house, has just released the playable demo of In The Raven Shadow, their adventure game done in the classic 2D point-&-click style. The game's story follows a young monk looking for the meaning of life while at the same time trying to clear his name of a spite of which he was wrongly accused. The demo lets the play experience the first few moments of the game and story, after which the entire game can be unlocked upon purchase of a registration code through the game's official site.

For those who missed it the first time we reported it, the Dreamforge classic Sanitarium has been apparently re-released into Wal-Mart stores across the US for the budget price of $9.14. This is a jewel-case release, fully compatible with Windows XP, and says that it is published by XS Games. We can find no mention of this on the Internet, but we have personally confirmed its presence in the stores. This game is nearly impossible to find these days, so if there's a Wal-Mart near you be sure to snatch up a copy!
