Best rated Adventure Games for PC page 79

Below you'll find an overview of Adventure Games that have received a very high rating based on our reviews, the list is sorted based on highest rated Adventure Game first combined with recency of the review we've done.

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games - Episode Three: TARDIS  (2010)

With its promise of exploring the TARDIS largely wasted, Doctor Who fans will be disappointed with this step back in the series.

15 Days  (2010)

Unless you’re a glutton for punishment, avoid 15 Days. There are much better adventure games—or interactive stories, for that matter—to be played.

KGB  (1992)

Though commendable for its ambition and extensive insight into a fascinating era, KGB is corrupted by too much tedious gameplay and punishing design. Investigate this cold case at your own risk.

Hugo’s House of Horrors  (1990)

Hugo’s first adventure was an impressive achievement for a sole individual, but it offers only a shallow storyline and is spoiled by troublesome puzzles and bugs in its hour or so of play time.

Heaven  (2009)

Heaven may be a beautiful place to visit, but there's not nearly enough to do here to fill its few hours, let alone an eternity.

STATIC: Investigator Training  (2009)

An unpolished effort that mars its own potential, STATIC: Investigator Training tries to spook players with ghosts, but will probably scare more away with its aimless gameplay and uninteresting story.

Iron Roses  (2009)

Iron Roses is a nice idea for a game, but there's just too little gameplay or challenge of any kind to keep gamers interested, casual and hardcore puzzlers alike.

Diamon Jones: Amulet of the World  (2009)

Diamon Jones badly wants to be Indiana Jones, but only succeeds in badly attempting to emulate its namesake.

Fenimore Fillmore’s Revenge  (2009)

As welcome as a quality new western adventure would be, Fenimore Fillmore’s Revenge is not that game. It’s weak in almost every facet, and at a measly few hours of game time, there’s no bang for your buck.

DreamWeb  (1994)

This game is only for the masochistic, the cyberpunk-obsessed, or the adventure game completist.

Lula 3D  (2005)

"What a bust!!" you'll exclaim as you pick up the box. Unfortunately, that's also what you'll be saying when you finish the game.

Codename: ICEMAN  (1989)

For submarine simulator fans and Sierra completists only.

Tears of Betrayal  (2006)

Despite an interesting beginning, Tears of Betrayal lacks the puzzles, fun and inspiration needed to keep players motivated.

Force Majeure II: The Zone  (2006)

Too deliberately confusing for its own good, The Zone is a game best left to brave students of metaphysical philosophy.

Final Destination: The Secret of Larson’s Folly  (2005)

Most will find Final Destination an unengaging and frustrating experience, with flaws that even technically-minded fans of sci-fi will be hard pushed to overlook. Trying before you buy is strongly recommended.

Hauntings of Mystery Manor  (2005)

Despite some positive aspects, its many flaws make Hauntings of Mystery Manor a disappointing game that fails to realize its potential.

Hitchcock: The Final Cut  (2001)

A muddled adventure game with little inspiration, even though it pretends to be Hitchcock-inspired. Lacking any depth or real intelligence, The Final Cut deserves to be left on the cutting room floor.

Jack the Ripper (2004)  (2004)

Generally a frustrating and unrewarding game, with the ultimate anti-payoff. I can't even sincerely recommend it to even the most ardent Ripper historian.

The Crystal Key  (1999)

It's been done before, and much better.

Beavis and Butt-head Do U.  (1998)

Only for fans of the series, other gamers will find it heavy handed and superficial.
