Best rated Adventure Games for PC page 76

Below you'll find an overview of Adventure Games that have received a very high rating based on our reviews, the list is sorted based on highest rated Adventure Game first combined with recency of the review we've done.

Belief & Betrayal  (0)

Die-hard conspiracy fans who are willing to overlook a litany of flaws might extract some enjoyment from this. Everyone else would be better off placing their faith elsewhere.

D  (1995)

While often unfairly dismissed as a survival horror, D is nevertheless an adventure for completists and older console owners only.

Next Life  (2007)

The great narrative potential is undermined by the dreadful pace, which will probably cause apathy to take hold long before the conclusion of the story.

Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure  (1998)

Whatever improvements the Director's Cut made over the original, it certainly wasn't in the gameplay. Jack Orlando has its moments, but its badly designed puzzles and a worse script should keep most players away.

Carte Blanche: For a fistful of teeth  (2006)

An interesting game, but one that most likely won't appeal to a wide audience due to its self-solving puzzles and bizarre affectations.

Full Pipe  (2006)

Full Pipe's initial charm and intriguing concept soon give way to a tedious and frustrating gameplay experience. It has its moments, but if the complete lack of story doesn't alienate most adventure fans, the poor quality of puzzles mostly likely will.

Victi: Blood Bitterness  (2006)

Play this game if you enjoy feeling hopeless and frustrated or are just plain curious as to how a game would specifically seek to bring about such a feeling. Otherwise, you'd be wise not to bother.

Ween: The Prophecy  (1992)

Ween: The Prophecy is little more than a big collection of inventory puzzles wrapped in a standard fantasy package; unfortunately, they mostly stop being fun halfway through the game.

Isles of Derek  (2003)

If you find the concept of Bible puzzles appealing, you might want to give Isles of Derek a try. For everyone else, while the game does have some redeeming qualities, overall it feels too flawed to be truly enjoyable.

RHEM 2  (2005)

Unless you're already a die-hard fan of Myst clones, RHEM 2 is probably not the game for you.

Mystery House  (1980)

The best description for this game in just one word would be "amateur". If you're really interested in going back to the roots of adventure gaming, give it a try and you'll have a bit of fun, but only for a while.

Egypt 1156 B.C.: Tomb of the Pharaoh  (2000)

A short game with underpinnings of 'edutainment' that does an average job of both educating and entertaining.

The Labyrinth of Time  (1993)

The Labyrinth of Time is a mediocre maze adventure, whose good points are undermined by design flaws.

Atlantis Evolution  (2004)

No evolution here; just a splicing of new and old, resulting in more frustration than fun.

The Arrangement  (2004)

Considering its short length and $20 price point, The Arrangement is hard to recommend to all but the most listless adventure gamer.

Mystery of the Druids  (2001)

Try MOTD only if you are willing to put up with rude character dialogue and idiotic puzzle solutions. If not, wait for House of Tales to release The Moment of Silence.

The Adventures of Fatman  (2003)

A mild-mannered freeware game trying to be a super-commercial release. Save your money for the sure-to-be-soon release of Pooperman.

Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror  (1997)

All smoke and mirrors, and very little substance.

RHEM  (2003)

A long-winded Myst-like puzzle game that will likely appeal to the hardcore gamer only.
