Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc review - page 2

The Good:
  • Narrative is generously substantial and unhurried
  • Amazingly designed cast of characters
  • Unique, cheerfully “poppy” graphics
The Bad:
  • Trial sections are bogged down by too many gameplay variants
  • User interface needs simplifying
  • Some music and vocal elements become irritating

Our Verdict:

Danganronpa may not score highly with its excessive menagerie of gameplay mechanics, but if you’re morbidly curious and want to indulge your darker side, this unique visual novel adventure gets a solid passing grade.
