Dale - 19 June 2012 04:30 PMThe archive is offline until further notice, so you’ll just have to deal without those old threads for now.
Which is a real shame since I believe there are many people who think old forum is a place to be.
Last month I spent much more quality time at the old forums than at these new forums.
And then the old forums died.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

The archive is offline to see whether vBulletin might be used in the malware attacks we’ve had lately. The archive will be back soon.

What the heck happened to this site. It looks bleached out. And all my comments and profile info are gone. The only thing left is my email address. Hope this is a temporary glitch and that all those fun and often indepth adventure gaming discussions we had over the years are still around here somewhere. I’ve been a member since 2006 and it says I only made one comment. Huh???!!! (

I always cringe when I hear the word “improvements” in regards to most things. Usually it is the opposite. Anyway, nice to see your familiar avatar, Dale, and to know that you are still here. I linked to where there were supposed to be old forums and/or signatures and found nothing. Hope things right themselves eventually. One thing for sure about this set up … the more recent comments should be on top of the threads.

Just what happened to all the old user comments below the game’s review section? User rating is all good but why throw away all the information that was already there?

And again I didn’t get any mail about things being posted in threads that I subscribed to long ago. This thime it was this thread and The Photo Thread. This happens to me a lot. Very annoying.

Another thing about mail: whem I’m notified of new replies to articles, so not forum posts, the link in the mail is wrong. For instance, I just got this mail:

To be honest I found this game to be total drivel. The prose style was
insulting to my intelligence, the gameplay was threadbare at best and the
graphics hurt my eyes. But by far the worst thing is that it is very
obviously an ipad game lazilly ported to PC. Sorry, but one star is too much
for this, as a PC game.

Nothing has been thrown away - old user comments are still there.

you can only see the 1st Five’s only, and the rest are not accessible.
the attachment shows the Link i am talking about, as an Example for what link i mean and it goes for all the others as well.
Thanks, for concern .

Ehm… The link now indeed points to the article in question, but the comments are not shown:

There are far more “über proportioned” people in reality, the stylized face
is the only thing particularly unrealistic.Everbydoy has different taste of course, but to me the word sexist is often
meaningless.

Hmm, you must have gotten that exactly as I was editing the template. You should be getting a URL with a number at the end (like the second one you posted) - this is what I’m getting myself when testing it. If this is not the case for you in future email notifications let me know.
