Holland were defeated in the play offs by the Czech Republic. Sweden put out Denmark at the same stage.

I think there ia a lack of young talent showing. Plus a lot of problems with the coaches after Van Gaal left. Some of the more importatnt players like Van Persie and Sneijder are not playing in a competitive club champioship and are getting older. Robben keeps getting injured.

Yes, it is very shocking. It was always one of my favorite teams, I loved watching them play, the amount of talent they used to have was enviable.

Denmark should have been a clear 2nd in the group and it shouldn’t really had been necessary with a playoff game, but some terrible games against Albania, Armenia and the likes meant we had to meet our arch-enemy in a playoff game - and lost

Well at least we are spared the humiliation of loosing all our games here in the group stage
(The current Danish team really aren’t very good)

And, Yeah, England should have won against Russia - but if you don’t score on the chances you get ...
