i liked the game. The first half or so was somewhat mediocre and i was getting convinced i wouldnt like it very much…. but then it got better and better: the swamp town and faery world were both very well done and really great places.
I even liked the end, which many people seem to not like.It was a bit sad… but happy at the same time that nuri is free to live as a bird

Did you also talk about players?

I’m currently away from my laptop so I have to rely on the walkthrough but I’ll see what I can find out tomorrow when I get back. I have a save right before the thing with the Occulunculus so it should be pretty easy. Untill then good luck and I hope you overcome this problem.

You have to listen to the sea shell thats near the peacock. You also have to talk to the peacock about the birthday celebration.

I really hate the fairy world. It’s the only part of the game I didn’t like. It’s so nonsensical. Most of the puzzles I cracked by trial and error and the occasional use of the walkthrough. It’s also such a huge break from the style of the rest of the game. Plus it has very little backstory to it and isn’t anywhere near as fleshed out as Aventuria the main setting for the game. Luckily the final chapter is as good and as highly enjoyable as the first three.

Nonsense!

Which parts? The puzzles were the best and cleverest in this section.

A very a good thing in my eyes.

Moving a weathervane to control the wind sounds pretty nonsensical to me.

Well to be honest I don’t think there was a single puzzle in that segment where the solution made sense to me. The puzzles were all based on surreal logic and not rational thinking. At least that’s how see it.

It’s also such a huge break from the style of the rest of the game.

A very a good thing in my eyes.

Not to me I absolutely adored the style of the game. One of the most stylish, most charming games I’ve played.

I guess in the end it’s all a matter of tastes.

Hi,

Is there a boxed retail version of the English edition? I can’t find anything on Amazon US\UK, only the German edition on Amazon.de…

There isn’t an English retail box and it doesn’t look like there ever will be one. But since the German retail box uses Steamworks you get all the languages avaible on Steam. The means German & English voice over and French & Italian with subtitles.

That’s very sad to hear. But what do you mean I get other languages? I can get the boxed game in German, and I’ll still get to play it in English? Even though the English audio+text files do not physically exist on the game DVD??

Schneckchen says it’s fake, you say it’s real. So who are we to believe?
I’d like to think Daedalic wouldn’t stoop to this blah level, but what do I know…

You can believe me, I just tried it and it’s true Smile And it probably also exists in the German edition, I think Schneckchen ^.^ just tried using the puppet head without filling it with magnesium first - it’ll work only with magnesium inside the puppet head.
