It is an amazing game Mike, but every AG is suitable for AGCPT from your very wide and positive perspective, i am not like that.

We just finished a CPT of Tormentum: Dark Sorrow, which many said the same things, a short casual like game and the CPT of it was excellent.

Great adventure games usually make great CPTs.

I will also nominate Little Misfortune, Mikekelly leader. We had a great CPT with Fran Bow, so this one is a natural.

i withdraw my vote for The Silent Age, its a magnificent AG, no doubt about it, i had it as my signature back then “go play The Silent Age”, but it is kinda casual and short too, an does not fit to be nominated here. IMO

Oh dear!  Thumbs Up  Is every game now that’s a little on the short side & perhaps not challenging enough going to be classified as a ‘casual game’. Okay, I could get on with that if it wasn’t for the glut of surreal/arty/walking sim games being spewed out at the moment as ‘adventure games’.

I’ll cast a vote for Silent Age & also Little Misfortune.
I’ll cast a vote for Lighthouse BUT ONLY if you Tim who has played the game before & has all the notes offers to lead the playthough.    Smile

Can we get over the idea that some games are not ‘suitable’ for a playthrough.

To my mind, here are the factors concerning the games which are suitable:
1. Two or more people want to play it.
2. ...

It doesn’t even need to be good game. Hell, I prefer so-called ‘bad games’ in a playthrough because those are the ones I’m unlikely to make it through on my own.

And without further ado, my nomination is: King’s Quest: Mask Of Eternity

I’ll support Lighthouse (and it’s not a vote against Silent Age, I’ll play it if it wins, just feel like playing a hardcore Sierra game right now).

Gack! Dreamfall. Two weeks from now will be around the end of June. If this game wins we will not be playing another game until the end of December. Not a bad thing if that’s what you want.

I didn’t think Dreamfall was that long. Howlongtobeat puts it at 10-17 hours for the main story.

Now, Dreamfall Chapters and TLJ… those are a different story.

My complaint against Dreamfall would be more that it’s probably the worst adventure game sequel I’ve ever played.

Brain cramp on my end. When I saw Dreamfall, that’s all I saw, and immediately associated it with Dreamfall Chapters. Still, if 17 hours is a correct estimate, that’s still a hefty game if you allow for playing an hour/day every other day.

Haha! I’m on board with that, add me in for KQ8. Laughing

On that basis I’ll also nominate and offer to lead Phantasmagoria. Thumbs Up

I’ll vote for the dinosaur game—Lost Eden
It’s very cheap at GOG right now—$3.39 (66% off sale)

Actually, our CPTs per our new rules and understandings, are very good.

1) You can run an unofficial CPT if you get enough interest - you are encouraged to do that.

2) If you win without a leader your game would still be played.

3) In the event of a tie, after all voting is complete, all winning games get a CPT.

Good times for a CPT today!
