but i had just so recently re-re-re-played TMOS, Overclocked and Dreamfall.. and still never replayed TNoTR with all the love i got for it.

When does the playthrough start?
I won’t have time to play anything until around the middle of May, so I don’t want to vote unless the playthrough starts after that.

I was hoping that wasn’t the case. Until Adventure Shop starts pricing their games in $US I likely won’t be buying from them.

Steam also sells both Overclocked and Sinking Island
(There is even a bundle with Sinking Island going on until tomorrow on indiegala that activates on Steam )
Big Fish sells Sinking Island.

I bought the game from Big Fish and played it years ago.
I used Bert Jamin’s walkthrough a LOT.
So while Big Fish has “abridged” versions of some adventure games, Sinking Island seems to be complete, because everything the walkthrough mentioned was in the game.
I have a free copy of The Sinking Island on Steam from prior purchases. If anyone is interested, please IM me and I will give you the key. It’s on a first come first serve basis

When does the playthrough start?

That totally depends on the leader of each game. He/she will start the AGCP whenever feels ready. It usually takes no more than a week after the final voting results to start the appropriate thread and no more than 10 days to start.

Advie - Sorry about the confusion. Between my stance on Adventure Store and your aversion to Adventure Shop, one of the games I voted for, Overclocked. may be unavailable. (There was ONE copy left on Amazon, but it was gone before I had a chance to place an order.)

No, there are actually several copies available at amazon, both new and used. You can buy Overclocked virtually everywhere: ebay, gametz, steam, amazon.
Until Adventure Shop starts pricing their games in $US I likely won’t be buying from them.
Prices are shown in euros but you can also pay in dollars.

If you haven’t bought on BFG for a while, you probably should know they’ve introduced a Steam-like client for installing and playing games. I’m avoiding them, like I do with Steam.
