Where are our flying cars, hoverboards, instant-microwaves, accurate-to-the-second weather reports, self-lacing shoes, etc.???
I just made a test drive in a Nissan Leaf. Emissionless cars are even better than flying cars don’t you think? And nobody has ever imagined the smartphone.

The hoverboard just works in the display area though. It’s basically working with magnets.

I popped in the Adventure forum and saw a lot about kickstarter broken promises and Matt and Jonathan’s names popping up…I felt the need to defend them. Fangirl for life.

Hi Fantasy! All is well here in the Netherlands
I went to the arrival of Sinterklaas in Kortrijk yesterday, with the kids.
I’m actually happy to report that Kortrijk is laughing in the face of all the Black Peter controversy by having ONLY Black Peters present (no Soot Peter or whatnot). And nobody made a fuss about it, which is as it should be.
I’m hoping for the same in Antwerp next week. I’ll probably watch that on TV with Zoë.

You have Sinterklaas in the country already? In the Netherlands the Sinterklaasjournaal hasn’t even started yet! And we will have ‘schoorsteenpieten’ this year IIRC. Ridiculous nonsense. I can imagine that people feel (very) uncomfortable with Black Pete but why not just stop making him/her black, call him/her Piet and be done with it? All those absurd stories make the matter worse in my opinion.

Hopefully not! Although according to his blog, that would be end of November/early December…but we’ll see.
