Well that time has come. The current CPT is no longer pinned.

I nominate Syberia: The World Before. Several people on the STWB4 thread have finished the game. I’m currently at 6.5 hrs and 30% complete according to the GOG stats, so I don’t think I’m qualified to lead it ... yet. If, by some miraculous turn of event, all my Dr. appointments disappear, along with all other chores, I might find time to finish it before the voting ends. If that happens, I will let you know.

I hate to get into a tiff about this because we are good friends. But isn’t it customary to post previous nominations with no votes attached when a new playthrough session starts?

I haven’t posted the list in several rounds because it didn’t seem to be making any difference in the nominations.  However, since you feel it’s important, here’s the list from the last round:

OK. I’m going to get out of this tiff that has carried over to other forums. Yes, I would like to play S4 as a CPT. But I don’t want to play it alone. So I withdraw my nomination. If somebody else wants to nominate it, or any other game, have at it.

I would’ve joined that CPT, but I don’t own the game and can’t justify spending on games this month. Besides, I intend to play start playing the first Syberia some time soon, after I finish Ace Attorney.

There’s already a thread (13 pages) devoted to S4, where 3 of the 4 CP voters are currently discussing S4. The CP thread is becoming a parody of itself.

Well, there’s a easy fix: nominating games.

I thought Syberia 4 would gain more traction and just be the default choice this time around.

Three games I’m willing to take the lead on:

1. Return of the Phantom
2. Puzzle Bots
3. Inspector Waffles

Agreed, one of the most pointless CPTs, everyone who wanted to play Syberia had already played it, and it’s not like a new Blade Runner. Too bad there are no other good games with clear release dates, and nothing in the recent review section caught my interest. Heck, I could swear I even saw a one-star retro review of an early Sierra game posted not long ago, but now it’s removed for some reason)) And as much as I enjoyed Waffles, it’s no Blade Runner either.
