Cloudpunk: Next-Gen Upgrade Hits Xbox Series X

The neon metropolis noir delivery game, Cloudpunk, has been enhanced and is now available on Xbox Series X, announced Manchester-based publisher Merge Games and developer ION LANDS. This next-generation upgrade is free for all existing owners of the digital version of Cloudpunk on Xbox. Gamers can expect faster loading times, higher quality visuals, a new Cockpit mode, and a host of other exciting features.

Cloudpunk was nominated for Indie Game of the Year and Excellence in Art, Animation & Visual Achievement following its initial release in 2020. The game takes place in the sprawling cyberpunk city of Nivalis. As a Cloudpunk driver, players navigate through city streets, from the depths of the Marrow to the towering spires piercing the clouds high above. No delivery job is deemed too dangerous in this immersive game world.

In this rain-soaked cyberpunk metropolis, it's your first night working for the Cloudpunk delivery service, and there are only two rules: Don't miss a delivery, and don't ask what's in the package. The game has been optimized for the Xbox Series X|S, offering players the chance to explore the neon city at upscaled 4k 30fps, or 1440p 60fps, and 1080p 60fps on Series S. Digital owners of Cloudpunk on Xbox One are eligible for a free automatic upgrade to the Series X|S version.
