It was Low in The Dig when the critter runs off with the bit of the door mechanism Low needs.

Sometimes you’re pretty sure that you think you know a quote. Other times (like now for me) you absolutely know that you know. Just remembering. It sounded like something Rincewind would have said in that knowing way that was used in the Discworld games which is why I originally went with that but couldn’t precisely place it. 10 minutes later and 
which is when I changed it. That particular bit of the Dig I’ll always remember, and I very much doubt that I’m on my own, because of the amount of times I tried, and failed, to trigger the critter trap.
