Let’s see if this helps at all Smile

You know, if you guys had done your job in the first place, you’d already know this. Yeah. He looked like a killer. Real mean. Squinty eyes. Red hair. And the bushiest red beard you’d ever want to see.

The first 3 quotes are from very early in the game with the first quote by the lead character and the following 2 quotes by an NPC that gives you a major lead. This next quote is from a little further into the game by a different, but important, (in the early part of the game) NPC:

The queerest thing is, he bleeds ‘em dry and washes ‘em clean and wraps them up like a butcher, all nice and neat in newspapers.

I really hope that this helps as these quotes aren’t from a particularly obscure game. This is from another major NPC from a bit further into the game:

Well, it’s very odd, but I figured out the text, though written in runes, can be read phonetically in English. It turns out that it looks like they’re describing some sort of ritual. Two of them, in fact. One to summon Odin and one to grant the powers of Odin. They seem to revolve, these rituals, around 3 objects of power. One was a wise man’s skull, one was a cup made from ash wood, and the 3rd object wasn’t as clear. It was “Thalia’s dark prison.” Thalia was a seer. A muse. Does any of that mean anything to you?

Okay, a guess on a game I can hardly remember anything whatsoever about: Black Dahlia

Well done Izno. This time your guess is spot on. I was beginning to think that I’d have to wait until Wilco started on his play-through before anyone recognised it.  Wink

The baton is passed on to your good self.

It was the runes that triggered my memory Cool

What was that liquid?
What a strange sensation!
I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to be sober!

I was sober once, for about three hours.
Never again!

Any good war stories, old timer?
Bah, you don’t wanna hear an old man jabber on about the war.
Okay, fine. It were dawn.
Airdropped into the thick of it strapped to this very chair.
Me’n my unit were cut off. Cornered.
Three borkoes approaching.
Had to smear ourselves with our own faeces to avoid detection.
Hunkered down in a ditch.
Turned out to be two sisters carrying their gerbil to the vet.
Made mincemeat outta them.
Happy times.

Sounds like a funny game.

The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

It is, plenty of quotes to pick from in this game, and I’m only in episode 1 so far.
So I can keep this going for a very long time if nobody guesses it Wink

Hey Sugar! Got the time?
Sorry, darlin’. There’s a hostage crisis underway. No time for a quickie.
A quickie? I was actually asking about the time.
Oh. It’s, uh, 10:30 I think.
Thanks, fat boy. Now, how ‘bout a quickie?
