Aggie Awards 2013
I’m just asking if we are going to have Aggie Awards 2013?
Of course we are! Staff voting rounds are in progress. Expect the Aggies in February (just like all previous years).
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Thanks!
I’m new to the forums so I didn’t know.
And an update to the Top100…...?
Please…..
great thread
alarm: I am invading this thread in a matter of hours!
Several sites have posted some interesting 2013 lists:

I have my fingers crossed for which games I want to see get an aggie.
We have a couple of games that got partially released in 2013 - so I’m interested in seeing if they get included.
The aggies are always pretty amazing and a great read.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
Thats how I anticipate those categories
Gone Home /best Story
Goodbye Deponia /Best comedy
Face Noir /Best Drama
The Night of The Rabbit /Best Gameplay
Kentucky Route Zero /Best Concept .
The Night of The Rabbit /Best Music
The Raven /Best Animation
Memoria /Best Graphic Design
ASA A space Adventure /Best Setting
The Night of The Rabbit /The Game “adventure” of year
That was a hell of an invasion
I think Brothers - A tale of 2 sons might also get a couple of awards.
Surely, the Narrator in the Stanley Parable deserves an award for his world-class performance…
It’s Heroine’s Quest as Best everything for me, but it doesn’t have a chance as a freeware. The Night of the Rabbit sounds like a good game to try

I agree, but I don’t think the Stanley Parable is regarded as an adventure game by AG’s staff.
I was struck by the number of childlike and charming adventures in 2013 and would like to add a new Aggie category: The Cutest Game of the Year.
Nominated:
Lilly Looking Through
Oknytt
Gomo
The Inner World
Journey of a Roach
I wish I could nominate Broken Age as well.
Sometimes, when I clean the rooms, I get a little curious and… erm… you know… snoop through our guests’s stuff. - This Bed We Made
A quick browse through the list of 2013 games and their review scores do indicate that Brothers and Gone Home hold the best cards by far for the AG of the year winner.
I’d be very surprised if Night if the rabbit wins the big one, though I can certainly see it win one or two category awards.
^dont forget they gave a perfect score to journey.
And im not saying it would make sense for journey to be the adventure of the year.
But then it didnt really make sense giving it a perfect score.
Yes, but Journey was already in the 2012 Aggies and won one or two awards if memory serves.

hm, why did i think that was this year, whoops O_O

“Journey” won some VERY major awards in 2012 - including “Handheld/console” games of the year.
One of the reasons I just bought a used PS3 for $119 dollars was to play this game.
I got a used copy of “Journey” for a very good price.
I’d like to see the PS3 game “Beyond: Two Souls” get the award this year. But there are many worthy adventure games in every category.
