You know, I didn’t quite feel the rush of emotions one might after this, but it is a - to exaggerate - bittersweet feeling. On the one hand, it’s a huge relief to have it finally done and be able to take a couple weeks off, one the other I did it for quite a long time and not only got used to doing it, but also actually enjoyed it. And now I have to get back to the “real” world again 
H.R. Giger, the designer of the alien from, well, Alien, and who also did the art for the Dark Seed games has passed away at 74.
I can’t help but think that the world is a little less insane now, and not in a good way…

Somehow, I have passed Finals.
Which means that, provided I turn up for the four weeks of my post-finals teaching, I get to call myself Dr Lacey. w00t.

Nah, just an art project. The artist (and director) made a 16-second clip but filmed it at about 600 frames per second, to play in extreme slow motion. The epic music (from the soundtrack of Inception) made Alan Rickman even more awesome…
