The trailer looks like a bunch scenes cut together like so many times happens in adventure games, nothing indicative of the gameplay

Apparently there`ll be a nice looking collectors box for Syberia 3 Thumbs Up

http://collectorsedition.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19991

Theres and unboxing video in there, does look very nice:

Looks like its 89.99 in uk or 99.99 for the PS4 or 119.99/129.99€, kind of expensive like all these boxes

Exactly! Just watch the trailer for Syberia 2. Lots of “action” scenes.

Says who? Oh wait, you’re just talking out of your arse. As usual.

Here we go again. 15 years later, the level of stupidity on these forums hasn’t changed one bit. Depressing.

Apparently this also applies to the aggressive nature of some which is aimed at those expressing their thoughts and concerns about a forthcoming game release.

Depressing ..... isn’t it.

Finally we have the trailer:

Wow it’s looks so action packed emits the vibe of TR reboot.

I’m still trying to figure out if you are being serious or sarcastic.

Assuming the serious route then…

None of that trailer resembles anything like TR and is obviously just cut scenes and not gameplay.

It’s not much different from the explosions in the Syberia trailer

or the sled getaway and bear attack from Syberia 2

Or who could forget the trailer for this action packed game

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

It does look like a great adventure game. I’m looking forward to playing it.

Here’s a preview, with some bits of Sokal interview in it:

Thanks for the heads up, I hate it when trailers reveal more than they should and take away from the experience of seeing it first hand.

Launch trailer is summary of game from start to end
Avoid

Keep expectations in check
Tombraider influence is palpable

edit

I googled tombraider and syberia3 , came up with this

Grosbois-Fabreau concludes: “We’re delighted to be able to introduce the series and its mesmerising world to a new generation of gamers across all major platforms – all fans of adventure titles and story-led action epics such as Uncharted and Tomb Raider will fall in love with Kate Walker’s latest outing.”

The more that I see of this, the more that I dislike it.

I loved the first two games, but this one seems to suffer greatly from being in 3D plus the lip sync (and SOME of the voice acting (from looking at trailers and clips)) is woeful. I also dislike the method of selecting dialog responses. It all feels very generic and bland.

I know that Benoit Sokal has said that it wouldn’t have been ecnomically viable to keep the 2D look of the first two games, but I think he’s wrong - plenty of games are available in 2D these days, particularly adventure games.

I see it’s an Imgur image so try using BBCode & either medium or large thumbnail for the size - large thumbnail usually works for me but obviously try medium if it turns out too large!

There is some odd fanservice showed in launch trailer that i dislike
Too much over exposition, Syberia was subtle
As far as uncharted and dialed choices UI go, budget was 8mill Euros, thats alot to be covered so have to gather new generation they say

I hope there is a fair share of isolation
