Shine On, My Little Sun: A new dawn in gaming

Ukrainian developer Forpixie Studio, in partnership with publisher Ternox Games, has officially announced their debut project, Shine On, My Little Sun. The game, described as an "interactive fairy tale," was unveiled in a captivating debut trailer today.

Shine On, My Little Sun is set in a post-apocalyptic world plunged into darkness where the last inhabited settlement, Svargo, survives by the warmth of a captured star in the town's lighthouse. The lives of the settlers take an unexpected turn when a girl emerges from the light — seemingly lost and set to change the fate of Svargo forever. The game's trailer can be viewed here:

Developed by a small indie team, Shine On, My Little Sun combines striking visuals with a coming-of-age narrative. Players are invited to navigate branching paths, make impactful choices, and delve into the lives of its diverse set of characters. With lush character art, an original soundtrack, and a poignant storyline, Shine On, My Little Sun unfolds as a tale of hope, acceptance, and resilience in the face of adversity and change.

As the world is shrouded in darkness following the fall of the Sun, the glimmer of the Sun endures at the heart of Svargo, humanity's last settlement. The lighthouse of Svargo, once a beacon for ships now entombed in ice, stands tall with the nearly diminished Sun at its pinnacle. The Sun's gentle warmth was enough for the people of Svargo to build a haven amidst the frozen wasteland. But what happens when the Sun awakens, forsaking its celestial slumber for a few fleeting days?

Shine On, My Little Sun can be found on Steam.
