Celebrate Halloween with the newly released demo for An English Haunting. This ghost story adventure game is set in 1907 London, amidst a craze for spiritualism. Séances and theatrical shows where spirits communicate with their living families are all the rage. Among the legion of investigators seeking to unlock the secrets of the supernatural, Professor Patrick Moore finds himself in a predicament he never anticipated.

The game features point & click adventure gameplay based on inventory puzzles, with more than 60 detailed pixel art backgrounds to explore. Interact with a cast of over 70 characters, including real figures from the period such as medium Florence Cook, physicist William Crookes, illusionist Harry Houdini, and writer Arthur Conan Doyle. The game draws inspiration from the works of early 20th-century horror authors M.R. James, Algernon Blackwood, and Arthur Machen.
