Last Half of Darkness?

Harald you have correctly identified the series.  Thumbs Up
Extra credit if you can name the specific game.  Wink

Sorry, I have no idea. I know you had an apple in the first one, but it doesn’t look the same. I only played a demo of the first game a few years ago and was bored, so I didn’t give the series much attention after that.

That looks more like a peach than an apple.

I don’t remember the original LHOD having that many items. But damn, those were scary games. And for 1989, too.

Okay I’ll give it a go: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder?

Edit: Scratch that: I’ve got my darkness titled games mixed up.

Just a little, that’s the Darkness Within series.

Try one more time.  Laughing

I think it’s Shadow of the Servants. I just watched a trailer for it and there was an apple with a pulsating… something… inside, similar to the one in the inventory screenshot.

Ok, here’s a new one.

Glass bottle
Video tape
Pin
Match
Key

It’s not as difficult as it looks (I think Tongue).

A Key (Check)
Match (Check)
Pin or Needle (Check)
Bottle (Check)
Only the Video tape is somehow not very common Smile

i will go with The legendary Sanitarium

Fair enough. That’s why I was hesitant to post this at first. Perhaps it helps if I reveal that these items make up the entire inventory of the game.

No, that’s not the one I was thinking of. Although it seems that you are correct in that the game contains all these items. Tongue

Here’s a clarification. The five items above are the entire set of inventory items in the game, but there is more than one video tape and you can carry several tapes simultaneously.

The Filmmaker.

Nope, sorry. I had never heard of that game, but I googled it and there seems to be several other items that you can pick up in that one. The game I’m looking for is much more famous than the Filmmaker.

There are 20 video tapes in the game and you can theoretically carry them all at the same time, although that’s unlikely.
