Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded alpha footage on Youtube
Practically every character in the Alpha looks like a different art style
This is 100% true. The character design is all the fuck over the place, and none of it matches Larry.
I think the developers at N-Fusion have done a good job, but Replay should seek an outside contractor for concept art/character design on the next one.
Wait, wait, wait. So you’re saying John Carpenter’s The Thing isn’t good? You’re crazy.
Not saying that at all. If for no other reason than Carpenter’s Thing used color, it immediately became superior to its 30-year-old predecessor. But, in my opinion, the story was not dramatically improved. I can also unequivaclly say that I prefer Daryl Hannah in the 1992 remake of the 1958 cult classic Attack of the 50-foot Woman. But, again, the basic story remained unchanged.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
Seems like people are forgetting this is Leisure Suit Larry.

Well, I offered an analogy between game remakes and movie remakes. There was no intention to hijack the thread into a discussion of cult movies.

In all honesty, your posts weren’t exactly the ones that I was targeting. You’re in the clear.
