Why the lack of posts?

Yay. Also playing with friends together again.

Are interesting people, you really wanna talk to, online these days? The less real talk there is, the less you care. Corona also divided people who were talking to each other before and let them focus on what matters most to them.

Well, I think we will all agree that this thread gone off topic. The lack of posts became criticizing AG reviews. I have learned in my life that nothing is perfect. I appreciate reviews here, I have played games that were review here badly and they were right, but I have played others that I enjoyed more than the reviewer. In fact, I trust more the stars system from users votes here.

Sorry for the lecture. I have sinned, father. I said this thread went off topic and I helped that. So please, open another thread to comment and disagree AG reviews. Here we complain how lazy People is not to comment here

It’s the nature of conversation to meander, diverge, digress, and go off the rails. Sometimes that is frustrating, as it can cause on to lose their train of thought about one topic when the train abruptly switches tracks, and that original train never reaches its destination, or is severely delayed. Frustrating as it can be, though, these detours are also part of what make conversation such enjoyable spontaneous fun.
It’s natural, in a forum topic 5+ pages long, for the original topic to transform into something else entirely or only tangentially related. It’s one thing if the topic was ‘hijacked’ on the first page and utterly transmorgrified—that would defeat the purpose of forum vs. chat room if it became common practice—but over the course of 5+ pages? Nah, it’s fine and natural.
Even better, in forums we have the benefit of being able to resuscitate conversational branches that died a while ago, through the handy use of the ‘Quote’ button. So if someone wants to reach back and chime in on the original topic, they can easily do so.

Perhaps if the community loosened up the reins a little bit, more folks would be impelled to join and then to stick around for longer.

What do you mean by loosening up the reins Baron_Blubba?  Smile

As I stated somewhere, I can’t find the specific post, it didn’t bother me a bit that the thread moved in a different direction. Also, per my suggestion, one of the administrators moved the group of posts relating to reviews and ratings to its own thread. So, hopefully, this thread is back on track.
