Hi I just finished The Last Door and now I have a hankering for more point-and-click adventure games that are heavily influenced by classic old-timey ghost and horror stories.

I think the “7 Days a Stranger” series fits the bill. The first one is an old mansion, though one or two of the 3 sequels take place in the far future.

The Last Door strongly reminded me of that earlier freeware series and I’d highly recommend them.
