actually, i am not sure know why no one answered this through the last round, i for myself always confused about counting through the track timeline, not mentioned to just follow it in order, that was what kept me from answering it yesterday.

I’m really sorry that you’ve experienced so many troubles through this quiz, Advie. So you’re confused about hints-additional tracks? I did this on purpose! Why should I put everything on the silver platter always? There needs to be some challenge! Stars of this quiz are still musicians from the original playlist. (the one I’ve posted when quiz started) And that’s what I meant by original locations.

not at all Darki, the troubles are mine alone, i am on limited 3G internet now, yea its better than a while before but its expensive and so there are so many luxurious of the unlimited internet that i am missing

I’m a bit surprised (again) that nobody recognized Anna’s Quests, A Soothing Melody(es)!
All in all, you’ve managed to guess 34/40 tracks, and that’s quite impressive!
Kurufinwe wins again but chrissie was great too! I bet that nobody liked “location” part
more than than you did, chrissie.
P.S. It was a good thing to listen Oscar’s advice about this new thread for sound quizzes. I didn’t expect that much action from a sound… uh, game thread!

Well, that was fun.

I knew BS5 was in there from the hint (clever callback to that cockroach theme that stumped everyone a few weeks ago), but I couldn’t figure out where. I hadn’t played the other games, so no regret.

Thanks DarkEye for a fun quiz which I didn’t intend to participate in as much as I did - I just got hooked & as for the locations - well you did ask! 

I did look through play-throughs for some of those that I missed but also missed the point in the playthroughs that had the tunes as it’s knowing exactly where to look unless you have an inkling!

I know I’m not going mad as there was a track 41 set at 15.17 - my note said ‘heavy metal’ - where did it disappear too?

That was obviously a joke so I removed it from playlist. The game in question was The Order of the Thorne - The King’s Challenge. Since I haven’t played a game I had to rely on youtube walkthrough. There was some wise guy who decided to edit video and replace original song with something of his own choice! Sadly I’ve noticed that only yesterday! Sorry! Look here   

Thanks for explaining DarkEye - I did have a go at whizzing through Order of the Thorne but didn’t come across it (which means absolutely nothing BTW!)

I forgot to mention that in looking for the solutions in your quiz I came across so much amazing music which in some cases was far superior to the game (let’s not mention them) but the music, by many talented composers/musicians, added so much in so many cases to the experience of playing a game (but it is often so subtle you don’t notice) & it’s only in a quiz like this (or another thread where the music is highlighted) that you get to really appreciate it!
