I just loved that film Iznogood - it’s a long time ago since I watched it but I can’t remember - do you get to see the tapestries?

Me too, and unfortunately not, at least not as I recall it.

These games take place in Australia, but I don’t know if the companies are from there:

The Sydney Mystery
Adventures of Down Under Dan
Casebook series

I’ll wait to see what you say, Karlok, before I post the next task.

It is safe to name any AGS adventure made by Yahtzee, Ben Chandler or Grundislav Smile

Just to be thorough, Primordia, Resonance, and 5 Days a Stranger were made by two of the Australians Doom mentioned.

Name 4 main characters who wear glasses.

I don’t really rise and shine.  I caffeinate and hope for the best.

Name 4 main characters who wear glasses.

Runaway (Brian wears glasses in the beginning).
Al Emmo.
Ed in resonance.
Duckman (in fact, Duckman’s glasses are his real eyes).

Name 5 adventure games (not from same series) with a Western setting

Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.

Dust: A Tale of the wired West
Silverload
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist
Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman’s Mine
Fenimore filmore’s Revenge

Name 6 AGs where the main protagonist is human but you get to play as or control an animal during the game. (i.e. games like Jolly Rover, Inherit the Earth don’t count!)

- Paradise (the bits where you play as the black panther)
- Discworld Noir (or do you not consider a werewolf an animal?)
- The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (Toby the Dog)
- Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (every Layton game has puzzles with ‘this week’s pet’ - in Miracle Mask it’s a rabbit)
- Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (where you team up with Missile the Pomeranian)
- I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (does Benny count??? Tongue Probably not…)
- A Vampyre Story (Mona in bat-form)

Stock puzzle time again: name 6 AGs that involve *gasp* crate pushing!

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Great answers TimovieMan! I don’t have a DS but I also hadn’t considered either A Vampyre Story or IHNMAIMS - Benny is a little ambiguous but yeah it’s a fair answer!

I’d forgotten about Toby In TTOSH & yes! a werewolf is a wolf when it is being one!

Apart from Paradise & Discworld Noir which I had in mind the other games were The Cat Lady, So Blonde, Keepsake & GK2!

Crate pushing puzzles - aaagh!

6 is a tall order, but here we go:

BS3 (Obviously)
The Stanley Parable (Pretty much the only actual puzzle)
The Pandora Directive (Many Times)
Gemini Rue (Pretty much as in BS3)
Sherlock Holmes vs Jack The Ripper (At least once)
Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis (Ditto)

Name my three favourite adventure games Wink

Okay a bit unfair perhaps, but the answer can be found here on this site, and I couldn’t think of anything better.

Nah Iznogood, you’re not getting away with that because it is unfair as I, as I’m sure many others do, only browse the threads that interest them! That’s a complete cop-out so please come back with anything else however easy!!!

He He - Don’t worry it was only meant as a place-holder (and a little joke) while I thought of something better Smile

Name 10 games that is based on a book or books
No cartoons and only one from a series, also the book has to pre-date or having been made simultaneously with the game.

6 is a tall order, but here we go:

That’s why I didn’t say that multiple entries from a same series were not allowed. Wink
Doesn’t seem to have stopped you, though. Grin

Also: The Longest Journey, Grim Fandango and Discworld Noir. But I agree it was an unfair question. Wink

You are of course correct, and look above.
