Adventure game sound… uh, game
That’s a great rendition of Greensleeves! BTW, based on your hints, at first I thought it would Crusader: Adventure Out of Time, but Pilgrim suits better for “famous novelist”, even though it’s been released in 1998 which is 4 years after Inherit the Earth.
