This is Professor Hartmann talking to Sam in “Secret Files: Sam Peters”!

Sorry, Walas, I’ve never played a Secret Files game. Yet.

Is it The Secret Files: Tunguska?

I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.

It’s not.

I could give you a clue, but that might give it away..

“You’re here! I’ve felt strangely alone on this ship with all these odd people.
And something bothers me. Everybody here wants something from Ian Masque-
but what does he want with us?

      Can I trust you?
Listen, I’m parched. Perhaps you can get me a drink from the bar.”

“Do I know you? Have we met?”

The ‘Ian Masque’ name makes me think this is a game from the current Tesla era.

This is not a clue.

It’s from a bygone era. Three cd-roms in a neat semi-hardcover booklet.

“Do I know you? Have we met?”

“No, but that magician, Martin Urfe, said that Masque invited a private
investigator. I assume that’s you.

Martin Urfe is the heir to the busted Kent ‘fortune’ of ‘Bloodworth estates.
There’s no money left, so he performs elaborate magic illusions for the enjoyment of
    Masque and his well-heeled friends.

He told me about you. I guess you know him? As for the rest of them, I don’t
        know.”

I don’t know the characters, but I think it might be from Clue Chronicles: Fatal Illusion.

“If I had a castle I’d role play in it so hard.  I’ve always wanted to play a debaucherous fat king.  Or the dainty princess.  Don’t judge me.”

No, that’s not it, Walas.  I’ll be back with another quote in a few minutes.

This quote is by the same character but in a different part of the game.

“Ow.  Oh wow.  It’s the incredibly rare Eastern European paper airplane bird out in the wild.  This is truly a magical moment to behold.  It looks like it has some sort of message for me.”
