Life is Strange
Developer: Dontnod Entertainment
Publisher: Square Enix
Platform: PC, PS3, PS4, X360 and Xbox One
Press release: http://eu.square-enix.com/en/blog/announcing-life-strange
Publisher Square Enix described the game as a “narrative driven adventure game.” The game will be episodic and will be available digitally for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The game revolves around Max, who returns to her hometown to reunite with her friend Rachel. The pair will set on a journey to unravel the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber. Max has the ability to rewind time, an ability which the developer says will affect the game’s narrative.
Gameplay:
Recently completed: Game of Thrones (decent), Tales from the borderlands (great!), Life is Strange (great!), Stasis (good), Annas Quest (great!); Broken Age (poor)
good to see a another dreamfall approach ,other than dreamfall itself
It does look like Dreamfall, not a lot shown but could be something interesting.
Voice acting sounded so dull (maybe like a real teenager…)
Really looking forward to this.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

This looks great. Sounds like it’s right up my alley.
“When Gone Home meets the Walking Dead” Uh, I think I’ll pass.
PC means personal computer
Your loss. Sounds interesting to me

Looks interesting… booo for being episodic… but ill probably play it eventually.
It looks very slick and unique enough. Dontnod also worked on the very attractive but ultimately unsuccessful, Remember Me. Perhaps this will be the winner they’re hoping for.
Remember Me introduced a really cool gameplay mechanic and then proceeded to not use it for pretty much the rest of the game in favour of being a dull uninspired action game. Really disappointing effort.
Life is Strange, on the other hand, looks tremendous. And its on PS3, so I can actually play it! Hooray.
They got me at S.King and TwinPeaks???
I hope rabbit hole goes way deeper than whats showed, it still looks like Indie Hipster Lesbian The Game on surface level.

I know, I was psyched to see the PS3 logo at the end of the trailer.
New video up for the game:
Interesting mechanic the Rewind, I remember some puzzle platformers like Braid using it well but not in adventures.
There were some times I wanted to use it in Walking Dead
Each episode is set to launch roughly six weeks after the last one.
