Tomorrow at 4 pm CET Sweden will play the Olympic finals in handball versus France. It will be extremely difficult but very exciting. Mr J’s brother with family (a bundh of hot tempered people I might add Wink ) will watch the game with us. I can’t wait!

Sometimes, I feel like the only person on the planet who doesn’t care about the Olympics. I find the Mars landing to be way more important but nobody talks about that.

Well then, that makes two of us! Wink (don’t watch TV at all and hate sports)
So, Mars was actually a quite boring planet, no alien monsters at all…

Three of us, although I do watch a fair bit of TV.
Well, now that I think about it, I don’t watch TV so much as merely have it on to drown out the noise of my neighbors coming and going and traffic on the street out in front of my building.

Not that we’ve seen yet, anyway. Wink
They do tend to land these rovers in the most featureless spots imaginable in order to minimize the chance of a bad landing, so of course one would expect the first pics to be rather boring.  Perhaps this larger, more robust rover will be able to investigate more challenging spots later on like the walls of a heavily eroded canyon.  Maybe in such locales Curiosity will unearth (unmars?) fossil remains of the Martian equivalent of of trilobites or even Anomalocaris.

Warning- People won’t have as much of a sense of humor about you putting an Alka Seltzer in your mouth then staggering into a restaurant while shouting “THE VIRUS HAS MUTATED!” as you’d hope they would.

Consider this: People say “Ewwww!!!” when they hear about a guy having a hairy bum or hairy back, yet every Teddy Bear ever made has had both a hairy bum AND a hairy back and nobody complains about them; In fact, people think Teddy Bears are adorable.

I don’t care about the Olympics either. I’m beginning to wonder if anybody does. Tongue

I’m hoping to find name for game that I played long ago
The people here so well-informed, someone is sure to know
A time machine, grandfather clock, I give it to myself
Oh never mind, the box is sitting there upon my shelf

For real retro gaming nerds, name that game.

Esp. if they are set on Mars

Cool

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Does the game trading thread still exist? I have so much to unload.

Sweden - France 21-22.  Embarassed But quite fairly so. France were the better team, but we managed to give them a good fight.

It did (at least it was always there) until the forum change, but since then I guess no one has made it again (unless it’s just outside Chit Chat, though I don’t remember having seen it (not that I’ve been paying attention)).

Guess you could be the One to open it Tongue

The only part of the Olympics that I care about is the hot guys, hence I only watch diving and athletics.

Then they’ll give you a 10 year ban… and send the AG-Cops after you… to cause technical problems for all your games… Shifty Eyed

I can only get about half of these at first glance.

Too lazy to look them up or think about them so…
