A question. Here us a quote from SoccerDude’s submission:

SoccerDude - 18 July 2022 02:53 AM

since there are tons of games I haven’t played yet or I don’t remember anymore and need to replay them.

I’m not sure what to make of it. It implies that there are games in his/her top 100 that he/she hasn’t played.

I wonder how prevalent that might be with other submitted lists.

Hi rtooney. Sorry if I was confusing with my above quote. I just meant that there are some games that are universally lauded(like some entries in the Sierra library for example), that I haven’t played at all or I played so long ago that it might as well be that I didn’t play them because I don’t remember anything about them. I did NOT include those games in my list. So I was just giving a disclaimer that just because you don’t see a universally loved game on my list, doesn’t mean that I didn’t like it. In most likelihood, I just haven’t played it yet.

Not mine. All the games on my list I have played. Plenty of super popular, well known games not on my list because I haven’t played them yet.

I agree it would be stupid for people to include games they haven’t played yet.

cant imagine that that would ever be a case to ‘include games they haven’t played yet’, but we will never know, i guess

There are people who rarely play any games, but frequently watch playthroughs on YouTube, Twitch, and other places, so theoretically people can have favourite games that they have never played.

I don’t think that happens too often in the adventure genre though, as there’s practically speaking no funny blast/frag moments, and even doing a speedrun would only be about how fast you could combine inventory objects.  Tongue

Hi colpet, I’m quite surprised you included me as I have very few 1st person puzzlers listed but yes, there are a few games common to us both. Smile

Actually I think that both yours & Lady kestrel’s lists stand out as different (in a good way) to most of the ones that have been presented so far as they include so many 1st person perspective games not included on other lists so far, many of which I’ve played & enjoyed!  Smile

@Beau: that list is WILD and I like it.

@Lady_Kestrel: Got an intervention this weekend over at my younger brother and I got to play some more games I’ve always been curious about. Would it be alright if I add about five more games to the list?
