Which adventure game character’s line is it anyway?
The reference to time passing fast makes me think it’s The Last Express, but I wouldn’t be able to name the characters since I haven’t really played it past the first couple of minutes.

It’s a different game in every single way.

That ball didn’t hit the post so much as it knocked out the coach of the opposing team!
Kind of your prerogative whether you consider that a win, but it doesn’t score you a point.

I don’t know which game is, but your comments sound to me like Al Lowe style, I think you are giving as a hint there, so I will venture with Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist.

I don’t know whether to take that as a compliment, but I will anyway!
The game is somewhat funny, but it’s not really a comedy game. Here’s a really, really obscure hint: The Oscars are empty, but the crates are filled with bottles of wine!

Of course it is a compliment! I felt like reading Larry’s narrator comments.
I will sleep on that obscure hint.

It’s not as good as the Mad Orange one, so here’s another hint: if one of the bottles contains rice wine, you might want to hold on to it.
“Old friend?!? I’ve only met you today!”
“Ah, time passes so fast when you’re in good company! Am I not right?”
“I guess you are… but I still don’t know what your problem is.”
This old friend is the first person you meet in this game.
Here’s a clue.
This dude slaps a label with his own name on his wife’s favourite wine, to distinguish it from the plonk he leaves behind for Nathaniel.
Here’s a clue for people who haven’t played the game.
Is it memorable? The title would certainly suggest as much.

Interesting title, not the answer, unfortunately.
This conversation happens in a serpentine valley. You’ve just arrived, with nothing but a memento in your pocket.
Is it Memoranda?

Sorry, I didn’t pay due attention to this thread.
It’s Keepsake! We played it recently as CPT

walas74 is correct!
I cut the quote a bit short, which made it more difficult to recognize. Mustavio has a tendency to talk about himself in the third person, I figured including one of those lines would be too much of a giveaway.
Walas, the board is yours!
