Damn that harsh news, Hope you get the proper treatment and make a fast recovery.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Wow, that sucks. I hope that you get treated quickly, that it works well and that you recover quickly, SD!

Thank you so much for all your kind words of encouragement. It’s so heartwarming to see such out pour of love and support from this wonderful community. It means a lot to me in this difficult and stressful time. It’s too early to tell right now what stage and grade it is, as they have to do tests all over the body to check for any signs, but I’m hopeful that since it is early on, it is still highly localized and treatable.

If I was to rely on my adventuring experience, I would be doing something like use healing potion on self.  Tongue

Thanks nomad, Cancer does suck. Yesterday, I had a surgery to remove the tumor from the bladder, and according to the doctor, it is still in early stages, so hopefully it is now at least controlled for the time being.

Dont think negative, and you are rather young.
I have gut feeling you will recover fine.

How does one get to know about one, just blood test?

In my case, it was an ultra sound for the kidneys (have a family history of kidney disease) just to make sure that kidneys are fine. Part of the ultra sound they also look at the bladder as part of the urinary tract, and that’s how they found it. It was really good luck because I never in a million years would have thought about it. There were no symptoms.

Thank you Lady K, you are very sweet Smile My surgery went well, and they have removed the tumor for now. The first few days were uncomfortable, with burning pain while peeing, and lots of blood, but now it has gotten much better, and I am almost back to normal. For the foreseeable future, I will have followups every 3 months with the doctor to make sure the tumors don’t recur, because the likelihood of them coming back is high.

Thanks Intense Smile Yeah thankfully it was early stages and low grade, and it was detected early.
