Not really, they were just a tiny winy bit better than Poland. Deserved, IMO.

Yes, I think we did have some better chances at the end, even if they were very few. Poland didn’t seem very interested in trying to win the game in regular time, so penalties seemed like inevitable at some point.
Semi-finals will be another story…
The kid that scored the goal is only 18 years old. Bayern Munich already bought him this year. Promising future.

ARrr, spooky, seems they are gonna take the cup!
After the first fifteen minutes, I thought this was going to be a pounding by Poland, but Portugal got better as the game went on, and based on the second half, they deserved the win, imo.

Noticed him when they subbed him in in a previous match.
Reminds me of Divock Origi two years ago - youngster half the country never even heard about gets selected, gets brought in, wins the nation’s heart.
