Resident Evil 4 intro village - probably the best intro for a action game, hust replayed it recently on the PS4
So i was at my pals crib, and he was having hard time defeating Krauser.
Reminded me how great the game was esp boss fights.
From gears to tlou, all ripped it nothing reaching its gameplay.
Mikami is best Dev indeed, his works were gameplay gold stuff.
Godhand, Vanquish,Re1,2,4,Dmc.
Read interviews and kamiya hardly gave much input to re2 or dmc, it was all mikami.
Not to mention he cowrote and codirected killer7.Didn’t know about RE2, thought it was more Kamiya. He and Kamiya did great team at multiple projects on Capcom, when they left it started going downhill. Maybe he can come back to save that sinking ship.
Sometimes director dont mean shit, by reading interviews i got to know where the most final calls and ideas come from.
RE2 was scrapped from RE1.5, many ideas were from scenario writer. Everyone put their ideas.
Mikami turned re4 into dmc and put kamiya in helm, still it was mikami decisions mostly.
Then he turned re3.5 into re4.
The only total kamiya games were Okami and VJoe.
The whole production unit was formed by Mikami in lead, after Clover, capcom ended.

Yeah i guess they kept saying its cooking, i worked for singapore outsourced team, they had others in Malaysia to Russia.
I think they did fab job, i want to play it , since steampunk still is original and gameplay looks way better than last prototype i played, but that had full camera control,
This is fixed, anyway more Dmc1 the better.
Its def oldschool hence still viable.
