Just started playing, i can say iv noticed a BIG improvement over the betas version of the interface, they reduced the number of clicks used. So far it feels like they listened

EDIT: aaaand then im immediately reminded how the flow of the game has been butchered
I get out of the bookstore thinking “allright! time to start exploring and piecing things together!” and i get, no you cant go to the drugstore, no you cant go to the museum, or the pub, or gabriels grandmothers house. So instead of exploring, investigating and bumping into the mime solution… it is the only thing you can do.

And actually… the state of the mime puzzle i think very much sums up how i feel about this.. and i am tempted to just stop playing. The mime puzzle was always a somewhat awkward thing in the original.. but the fact that it is now worse, and more awkward and more annoying than it ever was…. just…. whyyyy…

Hes talking about metacritic. Those are the only 3 reviews on metacritic right now.

And yeah.. if theres a pile of great critic reviews hidden somewhere.. please enlighten

I figured it was really too early to make any claims about how it’s reviewed yet.  right now it’s trending towards ‘very good’ (in general).

I’m sure someone will collect them soon enough, I’ve read about a dozen yet.. and the great majority was very positive.   Thankfully, because I would really like to see a GK4 some day and it all depends on this…

Dear Lord.  That Strategy Informer review.  Just one long hung-up whinge about how sexist Gabriel Knight is when he hits on Grace.  Jesus fucking Christ.  This white knight toolbag just cannot understand that to write a sexist character is NOT a tacit support of misogyny.  What a clown.

This piece of s…oftware is horrible, but I must endure to the end just to see how they butchered masterpiece. Why someone let them do this!?

And now we will most likely never see GK4 because of these incompetent amateurs.

I’d be willing to bet money that Gabriel Knight 4 is already happening, but that’s just me.
