I'm giving Silent Hill a vote. I keep hearing too much about Pyramid Head, or "Oh, that photo looks so much like it was from Silent Hill" whenever a foggy picture is posted. I'm not a fan of horror, so I guess I'm biased.

Not a horror fan? Is that possible?

I like Silent Hill 1 and 2. The other two I couldn't care about.

I can't say it's ever interested me. I hear about enough bad stuff in the real world, so I prefer happy entertainment.

Yeah, Silent Hill 1 and 2 were excellent, 3 were just okay, but 4 was... horrible. I think it's starting a wear a little thin by now. Strange though, because the Resident Evil concept never seems to grow old, even though I find the first two Silent Hills miles better than any Resident Evil game. Well, apart from Resi 4, but that's a different genre altogether.

Ninja Gaiden, I find that one of the most overrated games of all time. First, it's a genre I can like, second, it's incredibly dull in leveldesign and background graphics really aren't that great. The fighting engine's quite awesome, I'll give it that, but the rest is subpar.

Also, as adventure games go, Gabriel Knight (the series) is incredibly overrated. I mean, sure, it's got some good things going for it, but the whole thing is so lacking of polish it hurts. I mean, the most polished game in the series was probably Beast Within, but it's also the weakest part of the series.

That said, I like both games series (Ninja Gaiden and Gabriel Knight), but think they're both incredibly overrated.

No.

I. Think. Halo. Sucks.

It's not merely overrated, I think it sucks. Which of course also makes it overrated. And I'm one of the most hardcore and active gamers on this entire forum, so get that head out of your ass and learn to accept someone else's opinion SakSquash.

Comparing Halo with Half-Life 2, now THAT is what I would call blasphemy. I never experienced Halo as being revolutionary, while Half-Life 2 is.

It's a good FPS, in the sense that it's not a bad FPS. But "great gameplay"? Hardly. Repetitive and boring and unoriginal. However, I can see why it's gotten so far- it is extremely flashy, with a really nice coat of paint in the cinematography and music and graphics. And I know that a lot of people are shallow enough to judge a game by that, so I can perfectly understand the reviews and sales it got.

Don't start to get personal with countries. You might not like what I say.

The game is hilarious.

All you need to know about this game is that I actually went to the trouble of paying to import it, despite not really liking driving games.

Quite possibly the worst game ever. And quite possibly the greatest, too.

Yes. I have the box that's covered in lies sitting on my shelf.

Because it ended up only costing me a couple of pounds. And because I felt compelled to play it, compelled to experience the horror first hand.

It was worth it.

Hee, man. Well done Lacey. I'm once again impressed at your commitment to anti-piracy.

Big Rigs is well worth playing (certainly worth what I paid for it ¬¬¬) - you won't regret it, smitto!

Don't forget to test out the super reverse gear.
