Not bad How's Patapon? It looks quite interesting but unsure whether it's worth the purchase
Actually I haven't received it yet. It's suppose to get here on Wednesday next week. So far I've only played Lumines II. Stayed up until 2 a.m. playing it with my girlfriend last night. Haven't even looked at Gradius so far.

*edit*
Wee! The store called and told me that I could pick Patapon up today and I did. I haven't played it that much yet, but so far it's soo refreshing. Basically the PSP is treated as a war drum and you control your army of "head foots" by drumming different combos. The music, chanting and pace makes this really original and it's well worth the ~€40 is cost me. I don't know why it's so god damn expensive in Sweden though. In America it's only $20.

Border Down: Limited Edition (Dreamcast)

Game - £115

Shipping - £15

God forsaken VAT - £37!

By the makers of one of my fav games ever (Under Defeat), this game is pretty darn fun if not a bit too simple and conservative for its own good. Worth the amount I spent? No, not unless you're a major fan of shmups and G.Rev. But as there are only 5,000 copies of this limited edition, I'm sure I can consider it an investment if anything else.

Also...

Bomberman Onine (US import)

Game - £15 (the game is apparently brand new, but it's not really in new condition. But it sells for about £25 before postage on ebay, so not a bad offer at all.

Apparently only released in the US (not even in Native Japan), one of the last online Dreamcast games before the console's demise. Not as good as Saturn Bomberman, but I'll be able to play this 4-player so I'll probably never have to buy another Bomberman game again.

I recently bought this (again) and it's not bad. Admittedly I prefer Gradius on a larger screen. But at least it's not as bad as trying to play Gradius Advance on a Gameboy micro. As great as the game is, I just can't see half the stuff hence I'm selling it.

If you like the Gradius Collection, may I suggest importing the Parodius Collection. It's Gradius on acid.

That's crazy! It's £25 ($50) here in the UK.

Just purchased Fable: The Lost Chapters and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey for PC. Dreamfall comes in a nice box with a really cool little artwork book and an official soundtrack CD, plus the original TLJ.

I started playing Fable earlier, it's not too bad in my opinion - though it ain't nothing special, sadly. Though I'm not really deep into it yet.

I got Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey's.
Three games I'm ashamed to say that I have never, ever, played.
But that will change pretty soon.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I also bought Crash Banditcoot 3 and Crash Team Racing.
I'm going away to spend the rest of the week in the closet, with my Playstation now.

Some pretty fine games there fajerkaos.

May I also suggest Vagrant Story (if you're into RPGs), Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (platformer), Resident Evil and Grandia (another RPG, considered second best to FFVII).

Spontaneous surge made me buy these.
Exit and Final Fantasy - Tactics for the PSP. Final Fantasy - Tactics is a long shot since I don't really fancy Final Fantasy with all those random encounters and level grinding, but I've read and heard that this is different. And Edge gave it a 9...

Thank you.
That was some, what it seems like, great games, I'll never heard of before (except RE).
I'm such a casual gamer .
But yeah, I shall keep them in mind when I do my next shopping.

Today I got:

The Orange Box

Been wanting this one for a while.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

I loved the first game in the series, and I'm looking forward to this one.

wildcat, if you have a PSP, you can get the demo here:
http://store.playstation.com/store/i...C.GAME.US-TAB2

My girlfriend wasn't interested in this game but once she tried the demo, she dragged me on the day this game launched to buy it. And it is only 20 US dollars.

Now that I've gotten my PS2 up and running, I decided to give this baby a spin. I've only played several missions so far, but I can heartily recommend it. Yes, it's awfully rough around the edges and almost unplayable with the default control scheme, but it's also way more fun than it really deserves to be. I can't exactly pinpoint what makes it so awesome, but awesome it is. Out of all PS2 games I've tried so far only Ico made a more positive first impression on me, and one of those games was God of War which actually disappointed me a little.

Anyway, ordered these some time ago and they finally arrived yesterday:

Cosmic Smash

AND

Get Bass Fishing Controller Set

Both for £50, which isn't a bad deal considering Cosmic Smash alone costs around £45-ish.

It's just a shame that my BLOODY DREAMCAST BLEW UP!

Son-of-Jude-Law-on-a-bicycle I was looking forward to playing Cosmic Smash.

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition
Grim Fandango
Broken Sword: Sleeping Dragon
Star Ocean Till the End of Time
Okami
Yakuza
Skies of Arcadia: Legends
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Um, Hi

Um, Hi
Hi there Shiny. Some fine games you've got there. Gonna take you some time to complete all of those, if you're into sticking with games to the end.

I'll likely be playing this game with an arcade stick. I likes me arcade sticks. I think I'll have to order this game based on your opinion. Isn't it 2 player co-op?

This looks exactly like the pick up and play style games I'm really into right now.

Thanks for the welcome.

I finished Apollo Justice earlier this week and only Broken Sword, Grim Fandango and Skies have arrived so far (I think Okami and/or Star Ocean will arrive tomorrow.) I’m trying to catch some of the gems I’ve missed before I get completely distracted by next-gen titles.

I figure it will keep me very busy this summer.

Yeah, this is why I only ever buy pick up and play games now. I just haven't got the time or the patience to play a game that I have to stick my teeth right into.

Just got...

Got the Japanese version (they call it 'Power Smash'). Amazingly enough, all of the menus are in English still!

Fantastic lil' game. Only played one game of arcade but boy was it intense! I can defo see why this game has such a massive cult following. I simply cannot wait until I get 4 Dreamcast arcade sticks and have a full on multiplayer session with my friends.

I was worried because I played wii tennis, all other Tennis games would feel obsulete, but this is not the case. I've still got Virtual Tennis 3 sealed on my PC and I'll play that when I get the chance.

Highly recommended guys.

Yes, there's also a split screen co-op mode. I'm currently 50+ missions into the game (there are more than 70, each playable with two completely different characters) and it's absolutely awesome! Despite the unpolished visuals, it's also quite spectacular at times, especially with all the skyscrapers tumbling down around you.

Granted, at this point it's starting to feel a bit like a grind, but digest it in small portions (if you manage - it's terribly addictive) and you'll be perfectly fine.

Wait till you see the level titled Million Legs, SotC colossi have nothing on the creature that awaits you there.
