I Just Bought...
I don't know if there's already been a thread like this, but basically in this thread you post what you've bought recently (picture or text), and people can comment on the buys or whatever and talk prices, etc. Who knows if it'll work and keep going with purchases, but I think it's a cool idea, just to see what people are into and all that. So I'll start. Today I bought for $40 which I then found out was used (I thought the one on the shelf was just an empty display box) and without a manual...
...oh well. |

You bought Half life 2 used?
...Id keep your receipt if I were you cause if the guy who traded it in ever played it then youve got no hope of getting it on steam... I'm suprised the store even took it in, when half life 2 came out over here there was signs all over the place stating that they wont accept trade ins of this game sue to steam

Well it's working fine. I don't know, maybe it was new but the absence of a manual is a little disconcerting. Maybe the guy at the counter just forgot to put it in the box or something while we were talking about World of Warcraft. I think I'll go over there and ask tomorrow.

No real need for one since the game gives you a tutorial.

It's a re-release, they usually don't come with manuals, even if original releases do. There's oughta be a PDF manual on the disc, though.
This was my last purchase: It cost me $25. I don't have a PS2 yet, but I better stack myself with some games before I get one. Currently I have God of War and Freak Out for PS2 and Discworld Noir and Vib-Ribbon for PS1.

Here's the American edition cover art:
Not much more subtle, I'm afraid.

Nicer composition though. Bear in mind it's now "on the cheap" in the UK already...
I really wanna play this game, shame I can't and probably never will.

My most recent game purchase would be
for £9.99. Of course, given the rate at which I acquire games, it probably won't be my most recent purchase by the end of the week. |

Gamestation. They had a single copy in the Oxford branch, and it was one of those situations where I just decided to buy it instantly.

My latest game purchase:
I wonder if I ever have the hundreds of hours time that I need to play it.

I just bought this one:
Well, I pre-ordered it, anyway, because it isn`t released here in Europe until mid-February. (us lucky europeans ) About time, considering my almost two year long wait for this title. Well, I guess it`s worth it, it looks amazing

The original OMF is a classic, I still play it sometimes.
