I think I'm the only female posting in chit chat right now who is from Sweden. And it's definitely not me. I would never get away with it. I would never have come up with an idea like that either.

That's not what I wanted to imply.... (In fact, I didn't want to imply anything. Oh, and this place needs more Swedish members anyway!)

This page of the thread doesn't have a list yet. I have to fix that.
Statements made whom it is
Statements made whom it is not by forumites, that haven't been confirmed

For the record though, I did once haunt a messageboard in another guise for a few months, for personal reasons that would take too long to explain. Suffice to say, some friends recognized my mannerismms even though I was masking myself, and they privately called me on it. After that, I returned officially and put my alter ego away permanently. These days, I maintain no alter egos on message boards anywhere. I prefer people to know it was me, come what may. I've been Lee in Limbo for seven or eight years now. It's hard for me to be anyone else, unless I'm just being private, in which case, I do not post on open message boards anyway. It's just me saying so, but nevertheless, it's true. You can google me. I'm everywhere, and I've been far more controversial than The Imposter. I have no need or reason to hide. I don't even like the game he's playing. Not that I dislike it. Just that it sounds like absolutely no fun to me. It's an elitist guessing game. I discovered I have no taste for it myself. Mystery, sure. But I like my mysteries to remain secret. Advertising with flamboyant and aggressive behaviour does not help one keep secrets, unless one is hiding in plain sight. ____________________ As for the identity of The Imposter, it's RLacey. I know he denied it, and that's fine. Just saying, it's him. YMMV |

Okay, that's it, this is starting to get irritating, I'm gonna figure out who it is.
Heads=centre row of keyboard, tails equals top or bottom roll... ... damnit I can't throw a coin properly ... heads heads = consonant, tails equals vowel ... tails heads = u or i... ... tails heads = e... tails heads=o... heads, okay, someone who'se name begins with an O. heads = someone with an avatar tails. damnit. okay, I'm going to assume it's not a junior member, and that it's someone who has posted in chit chat ... it's Owskie! |

Well, I have now read this thread from start to finish, and I can say with all certainty that I still think it's Rob, but only because one other person I also suspect has yet to drop a clew I can use without Googling for five hours and coming up with more noise than signal. As well, certain hints just muddy the picture, and keep me thinking I'm not gettign the references properly. Until that person tips me off otherwise, I'm going to keep operating on the assumption that Rob's having us on.
On another note, I'd like to thank my darling Squinky for defending my honour. Very sweet. Kisses and hugs. |

At this point I can safely say....
I'm not losing much sleep over the identity of "the impostor"

What kind of name for a secret identity is "The Impostor" anyway? An impostor is someone pretonding to be a specefic other person, not someone making up an alternate identity from scratch. A real impostor would be using a name like, say, "Sqwinky", "Lucein21" or "Lee ln Limbo"

Dammit you caught me out.
I confess. I'm really Sage. I couldn't hold my Scotsman fetish back any longer. Lucien21 is locked in the basement. In fact it's nearly time for his weekly hose bath and exercise. Must dash........

Your reaction suggests that that method would be very effective, Lucene.

Clew #3: Who would be stupid and wretched enough to make Sage reveal his prediction against both his wishes and Common Decency?
(Once again, I shall apologise.) Incidentally, did anyone identify those people in Clew #2? They are clews, after all. Quote:
On a personal level, this exercise has been entirely justified. Feeling low, as I sometimes do at this time of year, it lifted my spirits to prime-vintage standards, and I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who indulged (and perhaps continue to indulge) it. That hiccup of mine, in which my mischievousness overpowered my humanity and brain, is my only regret thus far, and I hope it has not caused everything crashing as I initially envisaged. To sum: I haven't felt this much fun for quite a while; thank you all. Quote:

Why do I get the impression that you said, that just to make us think you live in GB?
