That is true. It's that rabbit's fault that I now have one of my own! Mr. Rabbit, he is called. Because we didn't want a Mr. and Miss Rabbit we named mine Annabel.

Dear blogsie,

Today I was told I would not get the job I hoped for at our University. Big bummer . I also got rejected for another job I had applied to. And on top of that my colleague didn't like the pictures I had taken of the campus, where everything is beautiful and white these days. In short, I had a rotten day. I try to make fun of it, but my immediate future doesn't look good.

Stupid university

I'm sure things will work out for you. It's the University's loss that they are missing out on your talent.

Have you ever thought about Universities in Germany or any other European country? My father who was a researcher (meteorologist) always says it's a good thing to get experience/merits from researching in Universities other than your own country. I know we discussed this over lunch when you were here, but I can't recall what you said about working outside N.L but still in Europe.

Thanks for all your support guys. It really makes me feel better. About working somewhere else: I don't want to move from Enschede, for several reasons. And I'm not desparate yet! Eventually I will find something, even if it's another temporary position. There are many organizations and organizations here that are happy to hire me. They just don't know it yet.

Yes! This is the right mood, tsa!

Here in Italy, I'll say to you: "Forza e coraggio!"

Perfectly said, tsa... Did you have an expression of this kind in your language? I don't think that "Strength and Courage" sounds very well in English

That's hard to say to a woman. And I know a few women who need it. No we don't have a saying like that. But how about: "Never give up! Neverrrr... surrender!"

You could of course call it "Force and Courage".

Force is much more cool than strength, after all.
