Hey! I just noticed when you said that tsa, that everyone who ahd thus-far congradulated you were all girls. lol
I'm glad you'll get your camera back, just in a different way. Well, tomorrow's Valentine's Day. I don't expect Louie to get me anything, although it'd be nice, and we are both broke college students. I really like to shower him in affection and show him how much I love him, though, so I got him some stuff. I bought him his favorite movie on dvd, that for some reason he doesn't alread own; Driven with Sylvester Sylone. And I bought him some Halo minis, because he loves Halo, and he would appreciate the sentement behind it. I bought him Halo boxers for his birthday. I was a bit nervous about the 3rd present, a balloon, being too girly. But I got him one which isn't too frilly. It's mostly white, with red hearts and stuff that says, "I love you".

Dear Blog,
After almost four hours of preparing drinks at a fund raising dinner, I have a new-found respect for restaurant staff. |

It was in December. I was just looking at Jaz's birthday thread, and marveling at the fact that I'm not a beloved member yet. lol

Dear AG:
I have been without a job now for about 40 days and counting. I have been in the job market for 8 years now, and this is the first time in my life that I am facing such bad employment conditions. I have applied to tons of jobs, and most of the jobs are making it really hard for me. Like one pre-IPO company I have never heard of before told me that I have to take two phone screen interviews followed by 2 onsite interviews if I pass. And all that to get a salary that is less than what I was making in my old company. They said economic conditions are bad, and they can't pay me the same. Another company gave me 8 programs to write, as a pre-condition to a phone screen interview. Solving the programs themselves would take me a full day non-stop, only to be able to talk to them. I am using some head hunters out there, but they keep finding me jobs I am not fit for. There is one streak of hope in all this. I got in contact with a company through a contact of mine (my old boss) who is a really really nice guy, and who quit from my old company before the layoffs happened because he didn't want to be part of the mess. This interview went well I think and I am still awaiting an answer from them by the middle of this week. If I don't get this one, I will be out of leads I'm hoping and praying that they liked me from our interview. I really wish everyone who is jobless right now the best of luck in these lousy economic conditions. It is really tough out there.

I know how you feel Soccerdude. I will be in the same situation in 6 weeks from now. I've been turned down for all the jobs I have applied to so far. I so hope I will be able to get a fixed job at the University in a few months from now!

The joke was that member is a slang term for penis - the idea of us all being beloved penises is an immaturely funny one.

Awww, thanks guys. I'm glad I'm part of the community. This site really means a lot to me.
I'm sorry soccerdude. My roommate in college moved out, and it was great to have a single room!! My boyfriend could stay over and I wouldn't have to feel guilty about making my roommate uncomfortable, because we are attached to the hip. We're seriously always hanging out. But now I'm being consolidated to have a new roommate. It's hard for me to find a middle game, without pushing Louie away (which I dn't want to do at all!!!) and not making my roommate uncomfortable with him always being over (which I don't want, either). :/ I don't know what to do. Sometimes, my boyfriend's rommate kicks him out of his room for a night so he can be alone with his girlfriend, and my boo has nowhere to go. He used to sleep in his rommate's girlfriend's room with her roommate, but of course I wouldn't feel to comfortable with that.
