A fantastic and confusing trip

Gadget: Past as Future is a remake of Gadget: Invention, Travel & Adventure. These titles are both interchangeable, so play which you like. This was the version I decided to play, and I’d like to start out first with saying this is a fantastic game for its length, it’s about 2-3 hours long with no real puzzles. One thing I’d like to warn is that I had a lot of crashes (and swapping the discs as intended was impossible) with it, although I’m playing it on a Windows XP computer instead of era appropriate hardware. Despite this, I recommend it, and think it’s a confusing trip on par with a David Lynch movie that lets the player freely interpret what the plot is- and it has a lot of accompanying material too. I loved the confusing, oppressive atmosphere of the game that carries you throughout the story, and I felt it had a grip on me the whole way through. I’m not going to say much on the story since I’d rather not spoil the experience, but I recommend the title.
